The Expedition of 234 ar

Auregniac covered most of the Auregnian Highlands between the period of X.315 to X.397-400 when the Auregnian Wars of Highstone destroyed that kingdom. Historically, the Auregnian Highlands had been the domain of men stretching as far back as the cities of Mercantis and Volar. It is said that the Lignoi of Rootwood granted the Highlands and the lowlands of Wilderlund to men in a treaty at Greatstones.

In the Eighth Age, the region was known as the Kingdom of the Wilderlund, and was ruled from the city of Toleiere in the Vale of Auregais. Ruins of Auregniac and the Wildlanders remain scattered throughout the Highlands.
