The Winking Whore

Whorehouse, inn and tavern

Owned by a browbeaten middle aged Essadi named Gazir, the Winking Whore is one of the nicer houses in the Stews. It is a two story plaster building with a tower of brown stone built into the rear corner and located on the very edge of the Stews in the direction of the Grand Promenade. The approach to the Whore is a narrow dusty alley that is shadowed by taller buildings. It has a silken curtain weighted with iron rings rather than a door.

The interior first floor is divided between private rooms and a large main room with sandalwood rafters and gilded lanterns illuminating it. Wine is free, but goblets to drink from cost five blades apiece.

The basement (accessible through a concealed door hidden behind a tapestry in the main room) bears an entrance into the city sewers.

ROOMS: Private – 6 fists/night, common – 3 stones/night
