Ralashar

Ralashar is a divided land which sits on the southern border of what is commonly known as the North. To the west lies the ashy waste of the Emberlands and the Sea of Sighs. To the east is the farthest southern stretch of the Trade Sea. Between these two boundaries lies the land of Ralashar; legend holds that the many peoples of Ralashar migrated to the region nearly a millenia ago, fleeing Mughar during the Spirit Wars. During the age of Khewedi, Ralashar was dominated by Khewed armies much like Highstone.

A semi-tropical region, many spices that do not grow in the cold North can be found in Ralashar. These spices make the land wealthy, even without the presence of a true government. In Ralashar regional barons (known as satraps) run rampant, ruling their little corners of land as they see fit from their fortress-palaces.
