Abridged History of the 10th Age
There is an abandoned camp sight just off the road here, across a field of loose rocks and scree and beneath a stand of old elm and whitebeam trees. The place is well-suited to camping save for the wrecked covered gnomish wagon off to one side that has begun the slow process of decomposition. Within the circle of half-cut logs there stands a statue of a basilisk, perfectly carved.
The basilisk turned itself to stone under the mirror of Aurelien the Apprentice, who’s name now graces this grove.
