Abridged History of the 10th Age
A set of 20 of these knives were made in the 5th century to be presented at a great conclave of the Brotherhood of Heimir. Each was bestowed upon one of the twenty Grand Abbots of the brewing brotherhood, a gift that they may never want for a way to cut their meat. The Abbot’s Knives are simple in appearance, almost humble save for the large stone set in their pommel. The magic within them is such that they can never be lost by their proper owner, always turning up again when wanted. No meat, bread, or cheese can defy them and they can slice through a standard cord of rope in two rounds. The knives are also +1 magical weapons.
